Bunks hard at work, totally focused on her job.  When I picked up this photo at the camera store after having it enlarged, the clerk said, "Is that a wolf?".

Bunks loved to cool off in a tub or stock tank after working.

This photo is of Bunks taken just after her front dewclaws were removed.  Bunks had repeatedly injured her dewclaws (due her "gung ho" attitude about everything that she did), so I had my vet surgically remove them.  Bunks came home from the vet's office with hot pink bandages on her "wrists", and that led to a very humorous comment by a friend at our training center.  My friend took one look at her bandages and said, "Now, I know that Border Collies can be a bit neurotic, but please don't tell me that she attempted suicide!"

This photo is of Bunks and a feline friend resting on the seat of the truck.  The cat is sound asleep, feeling totally at ease with Bunks watching over her.

After we returned home from a herding clinic, Bunks watched (and critiqued) the video of another dog working sheep.  Bunks loved to watch herself on TV, as well.  Her favorite video is of her Flyball team performing a demonstration at the Gaines Regional Obedience Competition in York, Pennsylvania in 1992.

This photo is of Bunks and a friend's dog, Bob, at a herding clinic.  Even though Bunks and Bob were unrelated, they looked almost identical, especially unusual since they were clearly not "typical" Border Collies in appearance.  When the two dogs were off leash for exercise, it was a challenge for Bob's owner and me to figure out which dog was which!

This photo is of the late Arthur Allen and his dogs Rock and Nick.  These two dogs starred with Arthur Allen in the Disney movie, Arizona Sheepdogs, which was made in the 1950s.  Bunks' resemblance to Nick is absolutely amazing.

This photo is of Bunks when she was twelve years old.
